Rochem METAL BRITE: Rust and Stain Remover for Metal Surfaces

It functions superbly as a phosphatizer, metal conditioner, or wash primer, particularly beneficial before painting steel surfaces. This adaptable solution is safe for use on brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, and chrome, providing effective cleaning, brightening, and protection against rust.
Application
Rochem METAL BRITE is typically utilized at full strength for removing oxides from metal surfaces. However, it can be diluted with fresh water when dealing with rust stains on painted surfaces. For optimal results, ensure the surfaces to be cleaned are free of oil and grease. While it's excellent as a general-purpose cleaner and brightener, it's not suitable for heavy rust or scale deposits and should not be used on zinc or galvanized metals.
Instructions for Use
- Aluminium, Brass, Stainless Steel Items: Remove oil and grease from surfaces. Apply METAL BRITE with a brush, rag, or spray. Rinse after 15 minutes. Avoid drying. Apply more coats if needed, preventing drying to remove oxide. Wash thoroughly with water.
- Steel Surfaces: Remove oil, grease, old paint, and scale. Wet the surface with METAL BRITE and let it dry. For rust in pitted areas, multiple applications may be necessary. Grayish-white appearance indicates effective treatment for rust resistance and good paint adhesion.
- Phosphatizing Steel Surfaces: Apply METAL BRITE to oil/grease-free steel for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with water to make the surface rust-resistant.
- Rust Stains on Wood or Painted Surfaces: Dilute METAL BRITE with water (approx. 1 part METAL BRITE to 2 parts water) for light stains or use full-strength for heavy stains. Let it soak for 20-30 minutes, then wash off. Repeat for stubborn stains.

- Skin Irritation: Rochem METAL BRITE is an acid solution that may cause skin irritation. Avoid skin contact.
- Eye Contact: Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention.
