It's proven to be efficient and cost-effective for cleaning fire-tube and water-tube boilers, condensers, superheaters, economizers, evaporators, steam and water lines, distillery equipment, air conditioning units, water jackets of internal combustion engines, as well as various cooling and piping systems.

Application

The cleaning process and duration vary based on the rust and scale's characteristics, equipment size, available circulation equipment, solution concentration, solution temperature, and presence of oily compounds. Circulation Method

  • Prepare a solution with 1 to 5 litres of R.A.D. per 100 litres of water.
  • Circulate this solution throughout the system for 8 to 16 hours.
  • Flush the system with fresh water to remove particulate matter and soluble salts.
  • For accelerated cleaning:
    • Maintain the solution temperature between 60°C and 70°C, or
    • Increase the concentration, reducing circulation time to 4 to 8 hours.

Soaking Method

  • Fill the system with R.A.D. solution and allow it to soak for up to 24 hours, suitable for situations lacking adequate circulation.
  • For faster results:
    • Maintain the solution temperature between 60°C and 70°C, or
    • Increase the concentration, reducing soaking time to about 12 hours.
  • Thoroughly clean the equipment with fresh water after draining the R.A.D. solution.

Caution

Rochem ALKALINE DESCALER is alkaline and requires handling with rubber gloves and safety glasses. In case of contact with skin or eyes, flush with plenty of water. Seek medical attention for eye contact. Avoid inhaling vapors and use with adequate ventilation.
