Eni Alaria 3

ENI ALARIA 3 – High Performance Heat Transfer Fluid

ENI ALARIA 3 oils are specifically developed for use in heat transfer systems. They are formulated from carefully selected paraffinic base stocks and provide excellent oxidation stability and resistance to thermal decomposition.

These oils ensure efficient heat transfer performance while minimizing deposit formation, making them suitable for long-term operation in industrial heat transfer units.

Properties & Performance

  • Excellent resistance to high-temperature degradation
  • Prevents deposit and sludge formation during operation
  • High thermal stability up to cracking temperature limits
  • Ensures efficient heat transfer performance
  • Good air release and low foaming tendency
  • Maintains stable performance over long service periods
  • High-quality refining ensures consistent oil performance

Applications

ENI ALARIA 3 is recommended for use in both open and closed heat transfer systems. It is suitable for industrial heating applications where reliable thermal stability and efficient heat transfer are required.

  • Maximum bulk oil temperature: 305°C
  • Maximum film temperature: 320°C

Higher operating temperatures may reduce oil life. Operating close to the cracking temperature for prolonged periods will shorten the service life of the fluid.

Operating Advice

During start-up of new systems or after maintenance, if moisture is present, the system temperature should be gradually increased to around 100°C to allow water evaporation before reaching normal operating temperatures.
